Welcome to the AFP Ozarks Region Chapter

The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is the leading international association for fundraising professionals. Founded in 1960, the national organization of AFP serves more than 30,000 members in 227 chapters located throughout Canada, Mexico and the United States.

The Ozarks Region Chapter was founded in 2003 to meet local demand for an ethical fundraising professional organization with access to national fundraising resources.

Join over 80 AFP members, who meet the second Tuesday of each month. Members and non-members are encouraged to attend our meetings and events.

SUMMARY OF DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Director of Development is responsible for leading the organizations fundraising strategies including major gifts, donor cultivation, supervising grant acquisition and fund raising. In 2012 DVIS began a capital campaign of which the Director of Development will be an integral part. DVIS offers services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and their children, emergency shelter, transitional housing, legal advocacy and batterer’s services.
